Manan Trivedi Continues To Increase Endorsement Lead

Reading, Pa - In yet another display of ever-growing grassroots strength, Manan Trivedi rolled out 27 more endorsements today from elected officials and Democratic Party activists in his pursuit of the nomination for the 6th congressional district.

Leading off the newest group of endorsers that bring Trivedi's total to 67 individuals are state representatives Dante Santoni (Berks Co.), Tim Seip (Berks and Schuylkill Co.) and Babette Josephs (Phila.).

"Like Manan, I am a Berks County native and I am looking forward to establishing a strong working relationship with him when he is in Congress," said Rep. Santoni. "And it is because Manan was actually raised in this district, coupled with his unique set of qualifications as a physician and an Iraq War veteran will give him the best shot at returning this seat to the Democrats and will give us the representation we deserve in Washington," Santoni said.

In addition to the individual endorsements today, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 743 became the first organized labor union to endorse and make a financial contribution to Dr. Trivedi. In the coming months as campaigns ramp up their voter outreach efforts, incorporating the infrastructure that IBEW Local 743 and these Democratic leaders bring to the table will prove to be invaluable.

"We continue to grow our campaign with leaders at every level of community activism and with activists from every community," said Trivedi. "From winning this campaign and then on to working to create the next generation of clean energy jobs, with the support of so many we will make the changes that people need and build a better 6th district for everyone."

Manan Trivedi is a primary care physician and an Iraq War veteran from Reading.
